Terms and Conditions
Last updated: May 2026
Welcome to PastaCasa. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website (www.pastacasa.com), including any purchases of homemade pasta, Italian pantry goods, and related subscription services. By placing an order or using our site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
These Terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data.
Eligibility and Account Use
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order or create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current information when ordering or registering, including your delivery address and contact details. We may suspend or cancel accounts that contain false information or are used in violation of these Terms.
Products, Pricing, and Orders
We sell fresh and shelf-stable Italian food products through our online shop. Product descriptions, images, weights, and ingredient lists are provided for guidance. Minor variations in appearance or batch size may occur because our pasta is handmade in small batches.
- Pricing: All prices are shown at checkout and include applicable taxes where required. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before an order is confirmed.
- Order acceptance: Your order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we send an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel orders (for example, due to stock limits, delivery restrictions, or suspected fraud) and will refund any payment taken.
- Promotions: Discount codes and offers are subject to stated conditions and cannot be combined unless explicitly allowed.
Payment
Payment is required at the time of order unless otherwise stated for subscription plans. We accept major credit and debit cards through secure third-party payment processors. We do not store full card details on our servers.
If a payment fails or is reversed, we may hold or cancel your order. You remain responsible for any bank or card fees charged by your payment provider.
Delivery and Risk of Loss
We deliver to addresses within our stated service areas. Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed but we aim to dispatch fresh orders promptly using temperature-appropriate packaging.
- Delivery charges: Shipping fees, if any, are shown at checkout before you confirm payment.
- Failed delivery: If no one is available to receive a perishable order, we are not responsible for spoilage after the carrier's first delivery attempt. Please provide safe-drop instructions where possible.
- Risk transfer: Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to your address or collection point.
Report missing or damaged parcels within 48 hours of delivery so we can investigate with our courier.
Subscriptions
PastaCasa subscription boxes renew automatically at the frequency you select (for example, weekly or monthly) until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method for each billing cycle at the then-current subscription price.
- Changes and skips: You may pause, skip a delivery, or update your box contents through your account before the cut-off time shown in your subscription settings.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect after the current paid period ends. No refunds are due for boxes already dispatched.
- Price changes: We will give reasonable notice of subscription price changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Food Information, Allergens, and Storage
Ingredient and allergen information is provided on product pages and packaging. Our kitchen handles wheat, eggs, dairy, nuts, and other common allergens. If you have allergies or dietary requirements, review labels carefully before consumption and contact us if you need clarification.
Fresh pasta and chilled products must be stored and consumed according to the instructions on the label. We are not liable for illness or injury resulting from improper storage, handling, or use after delivery.
Nothing on this website constitutes medical or nutritional advice. Consult a qualified professional for specific dietary needs.
Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
Because we sell perishable food, we cannot accept returns of opened or consumed products except where required by law or where the item is faulty or not as described.
- Damaged or incorrect orders: Contact us within 48 hours with your order number and photos where applicable. We will offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.
- Non-perishable goods: Unopened, non-perishable items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if in resaleable condition. You are responsible for return postage unless the return is due to our error.
- Order cancellation: You may cancel an order before it is dispatched by contacting us promptly. Once dispatched, standard delivery and return rules apply.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period after approval.
Acceptable Use of the Website
You may use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts, or data.
- Use automated tools to scrape content or interfere with site performance.
- Upload malware, spam, or misleading content.
- Impersonate PastaCasa, our staff, or other customers.
- Resell our products commercially without our written permission.
We may restrict access to the site if we reasonably believe these rules have been breached.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including text, recipes, photographs, logos, and design—is owned by PastaCasa or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit our content without prior written consent.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Our website and products are provided on an "as is" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Subject to the above, PastaCasa shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (such as loss of profit or goodwill). Our total liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory protections in your country of residence.
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any concern. If a dispute cannot be settled informally, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your home country.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For subscription customers, we may also notify you by email before changes take effect.
Continued use of the website or placement of orders after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
